Art Gallery of St. Albert (AGSA) is a registered non-profit, charitable organization. Every year AGSA holds a fundraiser to raise much needed funds to support programming and exhibitions at the Gallery. This year Square One Fundraiser and Exhibition returns for its second year.

Cakes on the Corner
June 19 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
Join us for Cakes on the Corner on Wednesday, June 19, from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Purchase superb works of art at this casual, community get-together. Art ranges from: $100 – $200 in price and all proceeds support Gallery programs and exhibitions. Cakes on the Corner is a sweet opportunity to support your community gallery. This is a free event and treats will be served between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.

St. Albert’s downtown ArtWalk returns for the eleventh season bigger and better than ever! Join fourteen venues for the opener on Thursday, May 2 and discover St. Albert as an art destination, a place to enjoy, view and buy art to suit all tastes and budgets. Enjoy each fantastic art exhibition all month long! Come and see returning participants and explore new venues as you stroll through the Perron District and discover vibrant artworks.

Vobis transforms artificial materials into natural constructions that resist artificiality in this solo exhibition of process-oriented installation works. Natural processes like melting, crystallization and growth are reflected in these large scale investigations each exploring concepts of change and transience.
Art Bus Tour Program

12:30 pm – 6:15 pm
Tour five Edmonton region art locations in one day. Art Gallery of St. Albert, Harcourt House, Society of Northern Albert Print-Artists (SNAP), Nina Haggerty and Visual Arts Studio Association of St. Albert (VASA) have partnered to offer art lovers a one day excursion. Participants will visit each location for an interpretive tour of each gallery and its exhibition(s).
Tickets: $15 per person ($10 if purchased using a valid membership card). Transport is included in the ticket price and we are offering two pick up locations, situated in both St. Albert and Edmonton.

Join us for an animal inspired exhibition featuring prominent Aboriginal artists; Joane Cardinal-Schubert, Jason Carter, Erik Lee Christophersen, Terry McCue and Aaron Paquette. Animal Spirit explores the unique reciprocal relationship between animal and humankind in Aboriginal culture and teachings. All works on display are on loan from the Collection of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. This exhibition will coincide with the Alberta Indigenous Games, hosted in St. Albert from August 4 – 8, 2013.
