Art Explorers:
Art Explorers is a 1.5 hour gallery tour program that expands students’ understanding of art through a fun, sensory-based looking approach. Art Explorers is designed for teachers in search of a multidisciplinary learning experience to introduce art appreciation, the elements of art and other curriculum topics to their students. The Art Explorers tour program takes place at Art Gallery of St. Albert and welcomes all grade levels!
Program Fees:
• $4.00 per student for Art Explorers
• $7.50 per student if one class books Art Explorers and a Museum or Heritage Site program on the same day
• $11.25 per student if one class books Art Explorers and a Studio program on the same day
Program fees help to cover the cost of all administration, supplies and equipment.
Studio Programs (Clay and Multimedia):
Workshops take place on weekdays in the St. Albert Place Visual Arts Studios (located at 5 St. Anne Street). Visual arts workshops enhance school curricula in social studies, language arts, science, religion and math, as well as art. Professional instruction inspires each student to create a project with success, in a child and student centered environment. Students are given the opportunity to use their imagination, make choices and express themselves in a visual form. Instructors can adapt projects for students of different religious faiths or cultural backgrounds.
Program Fees:
• $7.75 per student for a Studio Program
• $15.00 per student if one class books two Studio Programs on the same day
• $11.25 per student if one class books a Studio Program and Art Explorers, Museum or Heritage Site Program on the same day
*Minimum program fee of $120.00. Program fees help to cover the cost of all administration, supplies and equipment.
Outreach Programs:
Workshops take place at your school. Visual arts workshops enhance school curricula in social studies, language arts, science, religion and math, as well as art. Professional artist facilitators encourage students to express themselves visually. Hands on workshops offer students unique opportunities to explore a variety of materials, equipment and techniques often not available in regular school programs.

• $7.75 per student plus…
• $60.00 local travel fee (Book two programs on same day and split travel fee; $30.00 per class)
• $90.00 distant travel fee (Book two programs on same day and split the travel fee; $45.00 per class)

Youth Gallery:
Located in the Arden Theatre lobby within St. Albert Place, the Youth Gallery provides youth with opportunities to exhibit their artwork, building confidence and encouraging artistic development. Art can be displayed for a month or more at a time, depending on the number of bookings received throughout the year.
